At the Blancpain Boutique on the Rue du Rhone, Geneva's most prestigious shopping mile where the survey was conducted, the mystery shoppers were greeted with friendliness and respect. As soon as customers walk in the door, the staff takes their coats, seats them and offers a cup of coffee. The saleswomen truly listen to the customers so as to better advise them, analyzes Vincent Duebi, Reflection Marketing's head of development for French-speaking Switzerland. This is unfortunately not the case in many other boutiques, where the sales assistants did not have convincing arguments for their products and rarely offered the customer a logical choice.
Like the Brassus Manufacture nestled at the end of Joux Lake, the atmosphere in the Blancpain boutiques reflects the spirit of authenticity and the quest for perfection that motivate the Manufacture's watchmakers and are perfectly illustrated in this newly received prize.
