An absolute highlight is the cleanly designed silver-plated dial. The center of time is flanked by a circle of DIN numerals on both these Senator Karree models, whose numbers are consciously interrupted by the minute scale. In order to visually set off the 12 o'clock position, a polished rose gold double hour marker was applied to the dial.
Ordered geometry also dominates the position of the additional functions on the dials. Thus, Glashutte Original's characteristic panorama date located at the 6 o'clock position forms a clear antithesis to the Glashutte Original logo, while the latter, together with the chronograph displays, ensures perfection on the Senator Karree Chronograph.
Both the Senator Karree Panorama Date and the chronograph model are housed in cases comprising several parts, each of which fulfills the function it was created for.
Thus, the bezel serves as a holder for the dial and sapphire crystal. The case band encircles fine automatic manufacture Caliber 39. The concave case back containing a similarly concave shaped sapphire crystal builds the bottom of the tonneau-shaped case and simultaneously ergonomically hugs the wrist of its wearer.
The striking crown protection of the Senator Karree Chronograph is obvious, while the buttons refer to it, becoming ever narrower in that direction.
The antique-looking brown Louisiana alligator skin strap integrated into the case guarantees a perfectly shaped ending with its matching seam. Every single design and functional element of these models limited to 50 pieces worldwide contributes to its conspicuous look, underscoring the individual appearance of its owner.
