A successful adaptation of historical dial design is successfully mirrored in the Senator Navigator Chronograph. Thus, all hour numerals and the blued hour, minute and second hands are inlaid with the luminescent material SuperLumiNova to ensure excellent legibility even at night. The Double G logo guarantees a counterbalance on the tip of the second hand.
In order to create a balanced look and clean visuals, Glashutte Original's movement designers consciously left out the six-hour counter. Thus, enough room was created for the minute counter subdial at 9 o'clock and the running subsidiary seconds at 3 o'clock, with the complete symmetry and clarity of the dial not influenced by any additional displays.
This strong general appearance is aided by a 44-millimeter stainless steel case, whose robust, satin-finished surface perfectly completes the pilot's watch. Easy use of the chronograph function is made possible by the easily gripped buttons and crown.
Reliable Caliber 39 is in charge of the precisely stopped time inside the stainless steel case (now called Caliber 39-34 thanks to a chronograph module). Its perfect finishing is easily recognized thanks to the integrated sapphire crystal case back.
Security and comfort are guaranteed by a robust, dark brown calfskin strap with buckle. The strap - tanned by natural means - is vaguely reminiscent of a parachute with its slightly ribbed structure and holds the Senator Navigator Chronograph securely to the wrist of its wearer. It's easy to take off to the next flight through life with it.
