Although James Bond originally wears Rolex in Ian Felming books, 007 has been loyal to Omega in the latest movies. This trend begun with Goldeneye in 1995, and the latest masterpiece by Omega for the handsome secret agent is limited edition Seamaster Planet Ocean 600m "Quantum of Solace".

The black textured surface of its dial - reminiscent of the grip of 007's trademark Walther PPK - distinguishes OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean 600m "Quantum of Solace" from ever other James Bond limited edition watch. The blood red tip of the seconds hand rotates in stark contrast to the black dial.

The "Quantum of Solace" watch is a dream for serious divers: water resistant to a depth of 600m (2000 feet) with both helium escape valve and a unidirectional rotating bezel.

Unmistakably OMEGA, undeniably Bond: a logo is engraved on the buckle of the stainless steel bracelet. Another 007 logo appears on the case-back which also features the engraved words "Planet Ocean Limited Edition" whose black chromium treatment recalls the colour of the black dial.

The matte black dial offers dramatic contrast to the applied luminous hour markers and the Super-LumiNova inserts on the arrowhead hour and minute hands.

Positioned at 10 o'clock and embossed with the chemical symbol for helium "He", the helium escape valve allows any atoms of this gas to escape during decompression. This is a vital function when using as diving bell, as minuscule helium atoms are able to penetrate the case and could damage the watch when expansion occurs during decompression.

All models are available on comfortable satin-finished stainless-steel bracelet with polished sides. The fold over safety clasp is secured with an easy-to-us release mechanism.

Along with the luminous dot on the bezel, the high visibility of the markers and hands are invaluable for measuring precise dive times, even when descending to the darkest depths of the ocean.
