Omega Relaunches the Ladymatic

This was one of Omega's first self-winding watches that were designed especially for women. The original watch featured the smallest automatic movement the brand had ever made.

Reintroduced model includes 27 brilliant variations. The Omega De Ville Ladymatic timepieces are crafted in red gold, yellow gold or stainless steel a polished or a snow-set diamond-studded bezel. The watches are round and 34 millimeters in diameter. The polished screw-in crown is sealed with an Omega Cut diamond or a polished Omega logo on the polished versions. The polished case-back is transparent and crafted from sapphire crystal, displaying the impressive movements of the inner mechanism.

The dials are either extra-white mother-of-pearl or lacquered black, with a Supernova pattern. There are two different versions of dials, either with 11 diamond indexes facetted in 18 carat gold mounts or with no hour-markers.

The Ladymatic utilizes the brands calibre 8520/8521 movement, with a Co-Axial escapement and company’s exclusive Si 14 silicon balance spring. The movement powers 4 functions, hours, minutes, seconds, and date. The hours, minutes and seconds are indicated by polished alpha-shaped hands treated with Super-LumiNova for heightened readability. The date indication is located in an exhibition window at 3 o’clock.
