Blancpain Saint-Valentin 2011 Complete Calendar Limited Edition Ladies Watch

Blancpain is among the nineteen leading watch making brands that will gather in Geneva, to present their new collections and innovations, at the 21st Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie. The salon is scheduled for January 17th, and it will be open until January 21st 2011.

Blancpain continues its tradition and once again offers a brilliant diamond adorned timepiece dedicated to ladies for Valentine’s Day. As you can see on pictures, the watch sparkles in beauty of 49 shimmering crystal diamonds. The bezel is topped with perfectly shaped ruby set at 12 o'clock. The mother of pear dial features nine diamond time-markers and three applied numerals, while offering the basic functions.

The delicate hand shaped like a Cupid's arrow is a date indicator, which flows seamlessly across the circular timeline. The perfect time-telling is completed with big date complication positioned at 12 o'clock. Here you can see two exhibition windows: one for days and one for months.

The timepiece utilizes BP Calibre 6763 automatic movement, composed of 261 individual parts. This movement provides 100 hours of power reserve, but it demands manual correction five times a year, to make up for months that have less than 31 days. Movement is richly decorated, and it is completely visible through the case-back.

This exclusive watch is produced in a limited edition of only 99 pieces. It comes in luxury wooden presentation box with a charming lock and delicate leather coating with a corset motif.
