For this reason, Jaeger-LeCoultre participates in such an extreme ride with the exceptional Master Compressor Extreme World Chronograph. Vasilis Orfanos will wear this unique timepiece during the total 9 500km, race in extreme conditions, and try to repeat his previous success from 2003, when he won the 1st place in the 400cc category.

Master Compressor Extreme World Chronograph is a true sports watch designed for active men and really built to last. The watch is designed for extreme conditions and equipped with the patented shock absorber system protects, which protects the watch from vibrations and shocks. The masculine bold case conceals the world’s first air cushion, which absorbs 50% of the energy transmitted by vibrations and shocks. This way, the movement is fully protected, and reliability and precision are brought to their maximum.

The wristwatch is crafted in stainless steel, and the design is enhanced with technically advanced materials, such as texalium and carbon fibre. The bezel is slimmer than in previous Master Compressor models, and adorned with new faceted hands.

The watch utilizes an in-house Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 752 automatic movement, composed of 279 individual components. The movement is adorned with 41 jewels and provides 65 hours of power reserve. The watch is water resistant to 10 ATM, or amazing 1,000 meters.

Among the other features, this watch provides: world time indication simultaneously indicating the time in all 24 times zones, 60-second counter, 30-minute counter, hours, and minutes. There is also a date window positioned between 4 and 5 o’clock, and a power reserve indicator at 6 o’clock. The special functionality is a quick strap change, which is a patented system that allows the wearer to change a wristband in a moment. The wearer can switch from leather to rubber or to a metal bracelet quickly and easily, in just a couple of seconds.
