Mademoiselle Chanel lived there at the Ritz Hotel in a room equipped with a rear door, which were an exit to her office, workshops and boutique, on the Rue Cambon. The Place Vendôme was also a cradle of the company's rich and successful history - it was here that Chanel launched her first collection of diamond pieces.

Following the success of their fist timepiece, company made another important milestone in 2000, launching the famous Chanel J12 collection. The collection was, five years later, enhanced with jewelry watch equipped with the tourbillion, the most refined of all watch making complications. The exclusive movement CHANEL O5-T.1, built by the experienced Swiss watchmakers, was made to be used in these fine jewelry watches.
According to the principles of Mademoiselle Chanel's menswear-inspired fashions, the Chanel J12 collection introduced first unisex timepiece. It also featured first model water-resistant to 200 meters, and the first watch crafted in high-tech non-scratch ceramic.
Over time, Chanel timekeeping creations have evolved into extremely glamorous diamond pieces collected under the name “Haute Joaillerie”. In 2003 Chanel launched the Coco Mademoiselle and the Chanel In-Between Wear, dedicated to younger women. Their luxury goods are outstanding pieces based upon true watch making authority, and still very much on demand.
