New from Hublot: Formula 1 King Power Ceramic

As the name already suggested, the watch is made of Ceramic, which definitely becoming more and more popular among the watchmakers. Ceramic is not luxurious like platinum or gold, but this material offers smooth gleaming surface that is more resistant than any other known material. Moreover, it feels comfortable on the wrist since it is completely anti-allergenic, unalterable and rustproof. In reality, this means your ceramic watch will not change any of its properties over time, while being about 30% lighter than typically used stainless steel!

The new Hublot watch belongs to a special edition, and it is issued as a chronograph available in 500 individually numbered pieces. This true collector’s piece bears the official Formula 1 logo on the dial, and a special carbon fibre bezel decorated with a signature drilled ceramic ring inspired by high performance brake discs.



The micro-blasted black ceramic case measures 48 millimeter in diameter, featuring chronograph functions on the dial: a 12-hour counter at 6 o'clock, a 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock and a small seconds at 9 o'clock. There is also a date aperture, positioned at 4.30. The watch utilizes Calibre HUB4100, mechanical movement with automatic winding, with 42-hours of power reserve. It is water resistant to 100 meters and completed with adjustable black rubber & Nomex strap with F1 logo and red stitching.
