Hublot Unique Piece BIG BANG STEEL Manchester United Legends Tour

This is a busy week for Hublot. Their new Formula 1 King Power Ceramic was unveiled just a couple of days ago and now visiting Bangkok on the 6th April 2011, Kuala Lumpur on the 8th April and Hong Kong on the 9th April, a memorable tour by the Manchester United legends has taken place in Asia, all supported by this brand.

The event also had an additional noble dimension, since the Manchester United legends attended a charity dinner in each of these cities, to support the Asia-wide “UNICEF Legends Charity Dinner”, organized by UNICEF and the Manchester United Foundation.

Hublot designed and created three unique watches with the special Red Devil emblem on the dial and an engraving on the back, marking each date and location (Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong), and these are certainly future collectors’ pieces, sold at high prices after competitive bidding. All the funds raised have been channeled into UNICEF projects protecting at-risk young populations, including children, from the threat of HIV and AIDS.

BIG BANG STEEL Manchester United Legends Tour is made in 3 unique pieces. The watch features characteristic “Big Bang” case with 44.5 millimeters in diameter. It is crafted in stainless steel, with the vertical satin and polish finish. Black rhodium plated dial features applique indexes with a red devil at 9 o’clock. This exclusive insignia is used only for the official 1st team players’ watch.

The watch is powered by the mechanical chronograph with automatic winding Hublot Calibre HUB 4100. Water resistant to 100 meters, the watch provides 42 hours of power reserve and a date indication at 4.30.
