So, even since the early days, Breguet was inspired by women’s demand for highly sophisticated timepieces. The watchmakers even created the smallest self-winding chronograph, to fit it into the slender case of ladies’ watch.

This year, Breguet extends the line of ladies’ chronographs by offering Marine 8827 Ladies’ Non Gem-Set Chronograph in white and red gold. The watch is a part of tradition of elegant and sophisticated timepieces, which was previously available only in a diamond-set version. The new bolder piece is now introduced without stones, but still equipped with the world’s smallest self-winding chronograph movement. The Breguet Calibre 8827 offers full chronograph functions, governed by a column-wheel and a self winding movement with a date and running seconds interact in a 10 ½ line calibre, and 45-hour power reserve.
The slender case of this watch measures 34.60 mm in diameter. The dial embedded in the case is made of a natural mother-of-pearl with a hand engraving done on a rose engine. Each dial is individually numbered and signed Breguet. It reveals small seconds counter at 6 o’clock, 30-minute totalizer at 3 o’clock, and 12-hour totalizer at 9 o’clock. As on the diamond set version, the case back is set with sapphire crystal, and reveals movements of the mechanism. The watch is available in white rubber strap with two gold loops, and water resistant to 50 meters.
