This classic arcade video game was released in 1978, and the individually numbered limited edition honors the launching year. This was one of the earliest shooting games with a goal to shoot aliens with laser cannon and score as many points as possible. The legendary game has a special place in hearts of all those who grew up in 1980’s. The legend says that Space Invaders even produced a deficiency of 100-yen coins when it was first released in Japan!

Romain Jerome, one of the most exciting contemporary watchmakers, honors the pop culture of 80’s with these double limited-edition watches. Both models are crafted in black PVD coated steel, combined with fragments from the Apollo 11 capsule. The case is sculptured in a shape of a strongbox and boasts 46 millimeters in diameter. The space motif again repeats on the ball-and-socket joints of the round case, evoking the image of the pivoting “feet” of the lunar landing modules.

The stellar patterned case-back features a dedicated plate made of Moon Silver. It is made of a special kind of silver alloy enhanced by delicate particles of moon rocks. The grainy silver plate faithfully represents the lunar surface.
The distinguishing detail of two series is their dial. One model has a dial made of three layers of pixelated and shotpeened dies featuring hand-drawn file strokes. It reveals Space Invaders painted in different colors or coated in Super-LumiNova: the Space Invaders "Day Version" and the Space Invaders "Night Version".
