Raymond Weil 35th Anniversary Maestro Full Calendar

Raymond Weil himself established the brand in 1976, in the middle of the quartz revolution. This Geneva-based manufacture is established as a family business, and still belongs to the limited circle of Swiss watchmakers. All of their watches are Swiss made: their movements are made in Switzerland, encased in Switzerland and their final control by the manufacturer takes place in Switzerland. The Brand, therefore, cultivates some of the most important elements of Swiss luxury: precision, reliability, quality and technical perfection.

Their latest piece is issued to celebrate 35 years of success. It is a special full calendar automatic watch crafted from 18-carat yellow gold. Swiss-made automatic movement, based on the Sellita caliber, powers this watch. It allows for a diversity of indications, including centered hours and minutes, moon phase and full calendar. Date is indicated using a special hand that circles around the black-painted date-track, found on the very edge of the dial. Two separate counters, positioned on the lower portion of the dial, are used to indicate month and a day of the week.

The piece is delivered in a round case with 39.5mm in diameter, and mounted on a luxurious black alligator strap. It has a double sapphire crystal that protect the watch from both sides, allowing for 30 meters of water resistance. The piece is priced at $10,000.
