Breitling Colt Models for 2011

Breitling is a brand that specializes in making high-end watches for professionals such as racers, pilots or armed forces. What is so special about the Colt line is that it not only offers superior accuracy and stability, but also stands up to the demands of everyday life. Colt models are distinguished by their modern design, a slightly smaller diameter and ultimately sporty appeal. In addition, these substantial models are water resistant to 300 meters (1,000 ft) or 500 meters (1,650 ft), and clearly built for action.

Colt watches are topped with a bezel with a taut, featuring stamped Arabic numerals. Their dials stand out from the rest of Breitling’s collection as they boast rounded numerals, which are specially designed for this model. The watches are available in three versions: Colt Chronograph II, Colt 44 and Colt 33. The collection now includes even a women’s watch, and all new models are equipped with COSC certified SuperQuartzTM movements,which are ten times more reliable and precise than standard quartz mechanisms.

Breitling Colt Chronograph II

Colt Chronograph II offers a 1/10th of a second display, a split- second hand and a fast timezones-change system. The watch is made of stainless steel and comes in a case with 44 mm in diameter. The battery that animates Breitling 73 caliber is built to last for about 2 to 3 years. Mounted on Leather, Diver Pro, Ocean Racer or Professional strap.

Breitling Colt 44

Colt 44 is equipped with a screw-locked crown and a thick sapphire crystal, which are used to seal this watch against ingress of water for up to 500 meters in depth. The case is made of steel and measures 44 mm in diameter. The watch is completely customizable. It comes in three color-variations for the dial and in a choice of Leather, Diver Pro, Ocean Racer or Professional bracelet. Battery life is estimated to about 8 years, and the watch comes with End of Life (EOL) indicator.

Colt 33

Colt 33 is designed for women. This is a small watch with 33 millimeters in diameter, crafted from stainless steel. The case is entirely polished and water resistant to 500 meters (1,650 ft). The watch is offered in several variations of a dial: white, black or blue. Each of the dials features a discrete sunburst engraving, oversized Arabic numerals and a date window at 3 o’clock. For an extra feminine touch, Colt 33 is also available with a diamond-set bezel. These watches are powered by COSC certified SuperQuartzTM movement and available on rubber, steel, lizard or leather bracelets.
