Hublot Liberty Bang for the United States Liberty Medal Award

Hublot made this limited edition watch in collaboration with The Constitution Center and the Liberty Medal as the "Official Timekeeper" for 2011 and 2012. The watch is produced in only 100 exemplars, crafted from black ceramic and topped with a matching bezel. The black sapphire dial of a watch is extremely interesting as it features inspirational words about the Constitution, borrowed from the founding fathers. The letters are colored in blue, white and red, using a superior laser technology. From a normal distance, the letters melt together in a perfect color harmony, representing a fragment of an American flag. Each of the watches is individually numbered, starting from No. 01/100 to 100/100.



The watch comes in a masculine, 45-millimeters wide case, protected with a sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective treatment. The solid case-back bears special Hublot engraving, while the brand’s insignia also shows on the black ceramic crown.



The watch utilizes automatic movement HUB1112, built on 25 jewels to provide approximately 42 hours of power reserve. Beating of the movement allows for a three-hand functionality: hour, minute and seconds indications. This piece is water resistant to 50 meters and mounted on a black gummy alligator strap. This type of a wristband refers to alligator skin upper stitched onto black rubber base.

Hublot Liberty Bang is priced at $11,900.
