Perrelet Turbine XL America

This limited edition model is actually a brand new interpretation of Perrelet’s famous Tourbine watch, based on the innovative double rotor technology. The brand owns a patent for Double Rotor since 1995. This innovation features two rotors, one on the dial side and one on the movement side. The rotors are put on show with this new model that offers a deconstructed perspective of the American flag.

The 12-blade wheel, which is an emblematic feature of the Turbine collection, rotates over a dial and reveals red and white stripes of the American flag. With each movement of the wrist, the colors are set into motion, as they lively swing from one side to another, creating visually stunning optical effects. The hour-track is decorated by blue squares bearing white stars. There are 50 little stars on the dial, shown onto eight blue quadrants, exactly the number of states represented on American flag.



The watch is crafted from stainless steel with black DLC coating, and matched with a black rubber strap. It boasts 50 millimeters in diameter and a sapphire crystal on both front and the back. The watch is water resistant to 50 meters, it utilizes Automatic P-181 Double Rotor movement, exclusive to Perrelet. Perrelet Turbine XL America is issued in a 777-piece limited edition and it is priced at $7,000.
