This year, the famous Swiss manufacture presents a limited edition Vintage 1945 Tourbillon with three gold Bridges, as a modern reinterpretation of one of the most important pieces of their rich heritage. The new model uses modern aesthetic codes, it comes in a nicely polished case and radiates with the vintage art-deco style of the 1940's. The new limited edition model is actually inspired by a piece made in 1945, and revamped in a modern reinterpretation of the classic.

The watch comes in a square case, crafted from white gold, which measures 36.10 mm x 35.25 mm. Each limited edition piece is hand-engraved on the dial with its individual numbering.
Immediately recognizable are rhodium-plated skeleton bridges and a beautiful tourbillon made of 72 individual components. The tourbillon boasts only 12 millimeters in diameter and requires no less than seven days of careful assembling by the hand of the master-crafters. The watch offers hours, minutes and small seconds indication on the tourbillon.
The watch uses generously decorated automatic Calibre 9600C, which is visible from the sapphire crystal case-back. Automatic winding mechanism with platinum micro-rotor mounted on the barrel arbor is actually one of the Girard-Perregaux ingenious patents. The movement is built on 31 jewels and it offers a minimum of 48 hours of power reserve.

Mounted on a black hand-sewn alligator strap and water resistant to 30 meters. This watch is offered in only 50 exemplars and priced at $210,940.
