The case is crafted in pink gold and sculptured in 38 mm round shape. Its solid case-back is engraved with commemorative inscription, honoring a date in 1889 when Girard-Perregaux won the Gold Medal at the Universal Exhibition in Paris for its pocket watch Tourbillon with three gold bridges. Inside the case beats mechanical movement GP3300 calibre with automatic winding. The movement is built on 28 jewels, it beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour and provides at least 46 hours of power reserve. The watch is water resistant to 30 meters.

Girard-Perregaux 1966 Small Second is offered in a numbered limited edition of 100 exemplars. It comes under the reference number 49526-52-111-BK6A, mounted on an alligator strap with pin buckle in pink gold.
