Earlier today I already reported that Geneva Seal celebrates its 125th anniversary this week. To honor such an important occasion, Roger Dubuis presents a limited edition Excalibur Chronographe single-pusher wristwatch with Flying Tourbillon. This excellent new piece is to be counted worthy of double honor since it not only celebrates the fact that each of the Roger Dubuis movements is stamped with Geneva Seal, but it also represents the first Roger Dubuis watch that meets the new criteria of the Poincon de Geneve. Just for the record, the new standards apply not only to the movement but also but to a watch as whole. From now on, the voluntary inspection of watches will take into account not only the movement but also various functions claimed for the watch (power reserve, accuracy, water resistance, reliability, workmanship etc). more about the changes
The watch you see in a picture is the new Roger Dubuis Excalibur Chronographe single-pusher wristwatch with Flying Tourbillon, issued in just 8 pieces. The watch is equipped with brand’s new RD580 calibre.
Stay tuned for more news about this watch as official information becomes available.
