Cartier Masse Secrete Panther Decor

This wonderful and ultimately luxurious watch comes under the name Cartier Masse Secrète panther décor. To an inexpert eye, this watch may appear like an haute joaillerie watch, which postulates beauty above technical excellence. However, the truth is quite the contrary. This is a highly complicated ladies watch powered by an in-house automatic movement that has been reversed to put the oscillating weight on the front and decorate it with a panther. The oscillating weight, or a rotor, is a disc that constantly moves freely in both directions and transfers the kinetic energy to wind the mainspring. This means that a beautiful diamond-set panther figurine also runs freely around the dial, as the wearer moves the wrist.




The round watch-case is crafted in 18-carat rhodiumised white gold and shaped like a 42-diameter circle. The case is set with round diamonds, totaling 633 stones of 6.8 carats. Deep purple mother-of-pearl dial reveals a subtle Cartier insignia, two thin sword-shaped hands and an impressive panther motif.




The core beats to the cadenza of mechanical self-winding movement 9603MC, composed of 204 components and built on 31 jewels. The oscillating weight is made of rhodiumised white gold and set with white round diamonds and black lacquer spots. The watch offers 48 hours of power reserve and 30 meters of water resistance. Mounted on black semi-matte alligator skin with ardillon buckle in white gold.
