A tourbillon is nested in a round cage and positioned at 6 o’clock. It is also combined with small seconds indication, pushing away the hour and minute functions to slightly off-centered position. The upper portion of the dial reveals the 14-day power reserve indication on an easy to read 280° segment. The plane background of the silver-toned opaline dial and the external minute circle are inspired by the vintage pocket watches from the rich Vacheron Constantin heritage.
The amazing power reserve is obtained by four barrels mounted in coupled pairs. The barrels are connected and they all unwind simultaneously, but four times slower than a single barrel. The manually wound Calibre 2260 is composed of 231 individual components and it beats at a frequency of 18,800 vibrations per hour.
The watch case has 42 millimeters in diameter and about 12.2 millimeters in thickness. It is fitted with sapphire crystal glass from both sides, allowing the wearer to admire generously decorated movement of the watch. Screw-down case back ensures 30 meters of water resistance, making this watch suitable for daily wear. The watch is mounted on a brown hand-sewn Mississippiensis alligator leather strap finished with a folding triple-blade clasp in white gold.
