The new watch is designed in collaboration between Chanel and the honored Swiss Renaud & Papi workshop. This is the first cooperation of two major brands, established to create what is Chanel’s second tourbillon model – the first one was introduced in 2005, with J12 timepiece.
The black ceramic dial of the Première Tourbillon Volant features a floral design, decorated with the motif of the camellia - Mademoiselle Chanel’s favorite flower. The flower ornament is actually a flying tourbillion and its wonderfully shaped cage set with diamonds.

The case is much larger than the original Première watch, but it maintains the same proportions as the old model. It now comes in 28.5 mm by 37 mm body made of white gold and set entirely with baguette-cut or circular-cut diamonds. There are 101 baguette-cut diamonds ( 5.2 carats), and 127 brilliant-cut diamonds (2 carats) in total.

CHANEL The Premiere Flying Tourbillon Watch
The watch is powered by Camélia Flying Tourbillon movement designed exclusively for Chanel by Renaud & Papi (APRP SA). This mechanical movement with manual winding is built on 225 individual components and provides 40 hours of power reserve. The assembly of this watch requires more than hundred hours of dedicated work, while each piece requires 23 hours of diamond-setting. For this reason, the exclusiveChanel The Premiere Flying Tourbillon Watch is issued in a limited edition and offered in only 20 exemplars.
