Louis Moinet Jules Verne Instrument III case-back
Louis Moinet Jules Verne Instrument III is equipped with an original subaquatic-looking monopusher and patent pending function indicator inspired by Chadburn telegraph transmitters, as seen on vintage ships. The dial of this watch is graced with Côtes du Jura pattern and graced with golden accents. The oversized hands are blue and white luminescent material, to ensure maximum legibility even at the ocean depths. There is a small seconds indicator at 9 o’clock, 30-minute chronograph counter at 3 o’clock and a date window at 7 o’clock. 60-second chronograph hand operates from the center, while convex-shaped indicator on the lower portion of the dial points to “Start-Stop-Reset” function.
The watch uses mechanical self-winding Louis Moinet caliber developed in collaboration with Concepto Caliber LM30. This powerful mechanism beats at 8 vibrations per second or 28,800 vph, providing 48 hours of power reserve. The movement is finished in the spirit of haute horlogerie, having Côtes du Jura pattern and smooth blackened finish accented with traditional Swiss blued steel screws.
