SIHH 2012:

Richard Mille RM 56 Felipe Massa Sappire

Posted 4 months ago

One of the stars of this year’s SIHH exhibition is certainly this new Richard Mille RM 56 Felipe Massa SAPPHIRE watch.

The watch is available in a truly exclusive edition of only 5 pieces. Each of them features very rare type of casing – the one entirely made of sapphire crystal. According to the Richard Mille brand, it takes amazing 1,000 hours to produce every single one of these cases, and about 430 hours to grind the crystal and 350 for final touches.

The most interesting fact about this piece is that it actually retails for amazing 1.65 million dollars, but what makes this watch even more exclusive is the fact that all five of the exemplars have already been sold!
