Montblanc was also one of the exhibitors at this year’s SIHH, where this renowned Swiss manufacture unveiled the limited edition TimeWalker TwinFly Chronograph GreyTech.

The TwinFly part of its name stems from the flyback function of this watch. As you can see on our leading picture, the watch features flyback chronograph with seconds and minute hands in the center of the dial. The watch uses a single push of the button for stopping, resetting and restarting the chronograph function. When the function is activated two hands on the dial are starting to measure elapsed time, which is source of inspiration Montblanc draw upon.

The Montblanc TimeWalker TwinFly Chronograph GreyTech watch boasts an astonishing layered dial that looks highly complex while being very easy to read. The outermost periphery of the dial is printed with elapsed chronograph seconds track, while large Arabic numerals indicate hours. Circular apertures are used for date indicator while white scales indicate 24-hour second time zone indicator at 12 o’clock, and for the small seconds at 6 o’clock. The smallest track, in the very center of the dial, shows elapsed chronograph minutes. To improve the legibility of this watch, the hour and minute hands and hour indices are covered in luminous material.

Everything is powered by the in-house Caliber MB LL100 chronograph, endowed with a power reserve of approximately 72 hours. The movement is nested inside 43mm titanium case and visible through the transparent case-back. As you can see on the bottom picture, the movement is rhodium-plated and graced with beautiful blued screws and red ruby jewels.
