DEWITT Twenty-8-Eight Skeleton Tourbillon

The watch is going to be officially unveiled at this year’s BaselWorld, showing that - this time - the brand puts an emphasis not on a dial but on the superior in-house movement nested inside 43 mm-diameter case. The dial is fully skeletonized to reveal DeWitt’s historical DW8028, which is actually the first 100% manufacture movement.

Generously decorated in the spirit of haute horlogerie, the mechanism boasts the escape wheel and the anchor that are made of 18-carat yellow gold. It beats at 18’000 vibrations per hour and ensures 72 hours of power reserve.


DEWITT Twenty-8-Eight Skeleton

Unlike many other skeleton watches from the famous brands, DeWitt’s The Twenty-8-Eight Skeleton Tourbillon is still a large piece, distinguished by its robust and bold design. Its case features 48 imperial columns while the dial reveals graceful Tourbillon and its elegant Art Déco bridges. The barrel is positioned at 12 o’clock and fully skeletonized to reveal the core of a watch. Its unusual shape is inspired by the vintage car steering wheels.

The watch is offered in two variations. First one is made in 18-carat rose gold , while the second one - crafted in white gold - features 36 baguette-cut diamonds and 104 brilliant-cut diamonds. The Haute Joaillerie version comes under the reference number T8.TH.009. Both variations are entirely hand-made, assembled, adjusted and tested by a single master watchmaker.
