The latest addition to the Bucherer Blue Editions is the new Tudor Heritage Black Bay Bronze Blue. Bucherer Blue Editions is a unique partnership between Bucherer, one of Europe's biggest watch and jewelry retail chains, and its exclusive partners. The collection includes a distinctive selection of the finest watches with Blue as a central theme, a color that symbolizes Bucherer, but also noblesse. These exclusive watches in blue are only available at Bucherer boutiques.
The Heritage Black Bay Bronze Blue is modeled after the historical timepiece from 1969, the Tudor Oyster Prince Submariner 7021 with a blue dial. This particular shade of blue served as inspiration for the dial color of the new model. The vintage-inspired design of the watch face, and the domed dial, are also evocative of the first Tudor diver’s watches.
The most distinctive element of the new watch is certainly its 43mm bronze-colored case, made from a durable alloy of aluminum and bronze. Over time, the case will form a unique patina, so the watch will gradually change and turn into a personal collector’s piece.
Tudor and Bucherer’s new release is essentially the same as the existing Heritage Black Bay Bronze model, but with a noble blue dial and bezel. The handsome three-hander features oversized snowflake hands and indices, coated in bright Super-LumiNova. The watch is powered by the COSC certified MT5601 movement, and it offers around 70 hours of power reserve. The first diver’s watch in the Bucherer Blue Edition collection is water resistant to 200m or 660ft.
Tudor Heritage Black Bay Bronze Blue Edition is offered with both aged leather and fabric strap options. The fabric strap is said to be inspired by the straps used by French Navy combat divers. The new Tudor Heritage Black Bay Bronze Blue will be available from Bucherer for 3,800 CHF.
