The first Breitling Superocean model was created in 1957. The Superocean Heritage is a special series of watches, created as a tribute to this original model.
The series is available in two sizes: 38 and 46mm. This quite unique collection features the 1950s Breitling logo on the dial, topped by the letter B in 18-carat gold. The minute arrow is also shaped in the spirit of the vintage model. However, technology invested in a production of this timepiece is far more superior than for the original model. The original synthetic bezel is now replaced by steel and aluminum construction, and the sapphire crystal protects the watch instead of the previously used mineral glass.
Breitling Superocean Heritage 46 utilizes Breitling 17 selfwinding mechanical movement, equipped with 25 jewels and able to provide as much as 40 hours of power reserve. The watch is water resistant to 200 meters and fitted with Ocean Racer strap with pushbutton folding clasp.
