The Breitling’s first selfwinding chronograph movement was created in 1969, and finally lead to the development of a whole range of chronographs known as Chrono-Matic.
The contemporary model is nested in very large 49 mm-diameter case is a tribute to this forerunner of ultra-large watches. The watch is designed in the style of sixties, which is exemplified in the taut angular lines of the case. The dial features brand’s vintage logotype: stylized letter B at 3 o’clock. This limited series is equipped with a chronograph and a calendar displaying the day, the date and the month.
The Breitling Navitimer Chrono-Matic 1461 is equipped with the officially chronometer-certified Caliber 19, that requires to be adjusted once every leap year. The watch is crafted in stainless steel and produced in a limited edition of 2000 pieces. It is water resistant to 30 meters.
