Although the technical features of the Ingenieur Chronograph AMG are no different from those found in the standard Ingenieur Chronograph, there are considerable differences on the outside. The case, of course, is made of titanium and offers all the advantages of this light, yet highly robust, material. The dial features an outer tachymeter ring to facilitate the precise measurement of the speed at which a certain distance has been covered or acceleration rate. When measuring factors like this, a sports watch capable of one-eighth-of-a-second precision makes all the sense in the world. Here too, the dial design features the discreet use of bright red elements reminiscent of the instruments in a modern sports car. And on the back cover of a timepiece designed especially for chronograph devotees is an engraving that confirms the partnership between IWC and AMG. |
