An Ingenieur with a stopwatch function has certainly existed before. But as a full-fledged mechanical chronograph, the model with 79350-calibre chronograph movement and automatic winding system, small seconds, central seconds and 30-minute counter, is unique. It has all the features you would expect of a precision timepiece. With its 4 Hz frequency movement, it measures times to an accuracy of one-eighth of a second. The dial has an outer tachymeter scale. Another example of the watch’s high-tech design is the outstanding reliability of the timing functions. This is guaranteed by the push-buttons that are an integral part of the case. Despite these additional features, the Ingenieur Chronograph is as pure a piece of traditional watchmaking as you could wish to find. A case as strong as a safe, high-level protection against magnetic fields, screw-in crown, coated sapphire glass, the typical Ingenieur bezel with its five drilled holes and an extremely robust bracelet system. |
