The Day-Date II, launched in 2008, is crafted in 18ct white gold, featuring silver dial set with eight diamonds and two baguettes. The Day-Date II watch is presented in a 41 mm wide case, and completed with Super-president bracelet with crownclasp. Fluted bezel circles the round dial, while the signature Cyclops’ eye is remains featured at 3 o’clock. This kind of bezel was once used to screw the bezel onto the case helping to ensure the waterproofness of the watch.
This selfwinding COSC certified automatic watch is water resistant to 100 meters, suitable for swimming and shallow snorkeling. It is equipped with Rolex’s patented royal blue Parachrom hairspring, crafted from a paramagnetic alloy, which makes it unaffected by magnetic fields and up to 10 times more resistant to shocks. |
