Rolex Oyster Perpetual Explorer II 216570 is issued to celebrate the 40-year anniversary of Explorer II line. The case of a watch is now a bit larger, featuring 42 millimeters in diameter, and it is crafted in polished and satin finished stainless steel.
The watch offers great diversity of functions, all useful for explorers who would navigate rough terrain, and all other adventurers who appreciate fine timepieces. The watch has a graduation bezel, date indication and 24-hour hand. It also displays multiple time zones and has an independent rapid setting mechanism for the hour hand, which allows for quick and accurate adjustment.
The watch is propelled by Rolex’s in-house brand new movement Rolex calibre 3187 that uses the latest patented technologies of Rolex: non-magnetic blue PARACHROM hairspring and high-performance PARAFLEX shock absorbers. Built on 31 jewels, this movement provides 48 hours of powers reserve.
The watch offers 100 meters of water resistance, it has a black CHROMALIGHT display with long-lasting luminescence, and comes equipped with a new OysterLock clasp with safety catch and the EasyLink comfort extension link. |
