The Rolex Deepsea watch is designed for extreme underwater exploration. This ultimate diver’s piece is able to withstand the pressure of up to 3.900 meters. The watch is constructed using the three-piece case architecture and the exceptional Ringlock System.
This Rolex Deepsea is equipped with a unique bracelet with double extension system, which perfectly fits over diving suit. It comes in 44mm wide case and a bezel enhanced with scratch-resistant black Cerachrom disc. Watch details are enhanced by blue luminant which glows brightly even at the ocean depths.
The titanium caseback of Rolex Deepsea enables it to resist the pressure exerted by water at great depths. The case is sealed hermetically more completely the greater the depth attained. Harder but less flexible materials like ceramic would simply crack under pressure.
The Rolex Cosmograph is also equipped with a helium escapement valve that protects the watch against damage caused by excessive pressure at the extreme ocean depths. Helium escapement actually helps to equalize the pressure between the inside and outside of the watch, preventing the possible falling off the crystal.
This watch is fitted into a special Oyster case with helium gas escape valve for saturation diving, it is a COSC certified chronometer protected by sapphire crystal glass. |
