The Calibre S, patented, developed and manufactured by TAG Heuer, allows time to be read intuitively in a radically innovative, avant-garde fashion: the hour and chronograph functions are displayed by the central hands (hour, minute, second). With no fewer than 230 mechanical components and five bi-directional micro-engines, the Calibre S boasts unique functions:
* Intuitive chronograph legibility with hundredth-of-a-second precision.
* Measurement of simple and additional time and split time.
* Retrograde date with a perpetual calendar to 2099.

What does “electro-mechanical” mean?
A true hybrid, the electro-mechanical timepiece is an ingenious mix of mechanical watchmaking expertise and extraordinary quartz precision. With its 230 mechanical components and five bi-directional micro-engines, the Calibre S is a mechanical movement with quartz precision.
Functions: The Calibre S has two modes: “HOUR” and “CHRONO”. A simple push on the crown is all it takes to go from one mode to the next. The two modes are displayed by the central hands (hour, minute, second), making legibility simple and intuitive.
The two semi-circular counters at 4:30 and 7:30 are read as follows:
* In HOUR mode: The semi-circular counters indicate the date; the first digit of the date is indicated by the left counter and the second digit of the date is indicated by the right counter.
* In CHRONO mode: The left counter indicates the tenth-of-a-second precision and the right counter the hundredth-of-a-second precision. “CHRONO” mode allows the measurement of simple and additional time, and split times.
Dial: Black, silver, blue or yellow dial.
