Tag Heuer developed and patented the Calibre S movement in 2005. The watch movement is requiring no fewer than 230 components and 5 high-performance bi-directional engines capable of twice the torque of conventional timepiece engines. Once again, this caliber was used to make yet another marvelous men's timepiece that breaks the traditional codes of chronograph.

The Calibre S has three modes: “HOUR”, “CHRONO” and “REGATTA”. A simple push on the crown is all it takes to go from one mode to the next.
The dial of the Aquaracer Chrono Calibre S Regatta is adorned with two half-moon counters at 4:30 and 7:30. In HOUR mode, these counters indicate a date on a perpetual calendar to 2066. In CHRONO mode, the left counter indicates “CHRONO” mode and the right counter tenth-of-a-second precision. In REGATA mode, left counter indicates “REGATTA” mode. When the countdown is over, the chronograph starts automatically. The left counter then indicates “CHRONO” mode and the right counter tenth-of-a-second precision.
Grey dial looks sophisticated and sporty with luminescent markers for improved readability in the darkens and at the ocean depths. The dial is graced with applied monochrome TAG Heuer logo and “AQUARACER – Calibre S – 300 meters” inscription.
Crafted from a block of solid stainless steel, this watch features matching aluminum bezel with countdown scale and triple-row bracelet in satin-finish, made of polished steel. This piece is water resistant up to 300 meters. |
