The TAG Heuer Calibre S is an Electro-Mechanical Chronograph built for Mercedes Benz. The Electro-Mechanical movement, which was designed and patented by TAG Heuer, Classic Cardy 5819 is a factious change in horological movement.
The exclusive and patented TAG Heuer Calibre S movement took TAG over four years to develop, and utilizes 230 components, including five high geared bi-directional engines, to increase torque.
This watch is a fly back chronograph, featuring accuracy of 1/100th of a runner-up, as well lap timer functioning. The lap timer will indicate to 20 laps. The SLR is fitted with a undying calendar, with declining to 2099.
Black dial features vertical streak effect and three hand-applied semi-circular counters: lap counter, positioned at 12 o'clock; 1/10th of a retrograde counter positioned at 4:30 o'clock; and another 1/100th of a second retrograde counter positioned at 7:30 o'clock.
The dial is graced with “SLR” and “Calibre S” inscription. The luminescent markers on hour and minute hands provide more accurate readability.
Fine brushed steel case with polished edges has a fixed bezel coated with titanium carbide with tachymetre scale. The piece is protected with scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective treatment. The watch is water resistant up to 100 meters, suitable for swimming and shallow snorkeling.
On the case-back you will find “SLR for Mercedes-Benz” engraved. The watch is completed with 5-row fine-brushed steel bracelet with solid steel folding clasp with SLR lettering and safety push buttons. It is finished with polished steel folding clasp with SLR lettering and safety push. |
