Ulysse Nardin HMS Caesar Classico Cloisonné is a limited edition watch, issued as a tribute to noble Royal Navy seafarer - The HMS Caesar.
The watch depicted on the dial was Julius Caesar and became known as one of the six British ships in the famous 1801 Battle of Algeciras Bay.
The dial is made in special cloisonné technique in which a diversity of opaque, transparent or translucent colors are mixed together in an amalgam and divided by a delicate gold wire segments. The dial of this watch is made using 500mm of fine gold wire, and after 50 hours of work.
Powered by COSC certified UN caliber 815 movement, the watch is crafted in pink gold. It provides 42 hours of power reserve and 50 meters of water resistance. Mounted on brown alligator leather strap and available in a limited edition of 30 pieces. |
