Breitling for Bentley partnership celebrates its tenth birthday and welcomes three new models equipped with Breitling’s in-house movements: The Bentley B06, the Bentley B04 GMT and Bentley B05 Unitime.
It was ten years ago when Bentley made a comeback on the Le Mans 24 Hours race and when the partnership between the famous watchmaking brand, Breitling, and the luxurious manufacture of handcrafted motor cars, Bentley, has started. This prestige collaboration is often described as a union of the Swiss watchmaking tradition and the grand art of British car making. This year, both brands celebrate the anniversary of their partnership with three self-winding COSC-certified chronographs B04, B05 and B06 calibers, fitted with a column wheel, a vertical coupling clutch and no less than 70-hour power reserve.
Breitling for Bentley B06 features the “30-second chronograph” system based on a central hand sweeping around the dial in half a minute. The chronograph is accurate up to 1/8th of a second and it comes with the variable tachometer bezel, serving to calculate average speed whatever the time elapsed, the distance covered or the speed reached. The bezel is decorated with the knurled motif, which is a nod to Bentley radiator grilles. The open worked dial offers a view on the high-performance movement, while the open worked case-back showcases oscillating weight shaped like a wheel rim. This model is available in steel or red gold, mounted on either a bracelet, a crocodile leather or rubber strap.
Breitling for Bentley B04 GMT is designed for people who communicate with others in different time zones, for business executives or frequent travelers. This watch is distinguished by its functional dual-zone time system, which comes along with a high-performance chronograph. The local time is shown by the main hand which can be simply adjusted via the crown. The red-tipped hand shows time in 24-hour mode and helps the wearer to distinguish between day and night. This model is available in steel or red gold, with a choice of finely open worked black or silver dial.
Breitling for Bentley B05 Unitime is a worldtime chronograph which provides instant reading at any given moment of the time in all 24 timezones. The timezones can be quickly adjusted by simply turning the crown forward or backward, while the 24-city bezel of the watch takes account of the Daylight Saving Time (DST). Bentley B05 Unitime is available in steel or red gold, with black or matt white dial. The watch is mounted on either bracelet, a rubber or crocodile leather strap.
