Montblanc Villeret Tourbillon Bi-Cylindrique

About Villeret Tourbillon Bi-Cylindrique:

Montblanc Villeret Tourbillon Bi-Cylindrique is the world's first wristwatch to feature a tourbillon with double cylindrical balance springs. This model features an escapement with a cylindrical hair spring – originally developed in the 18th century for marine chronometers – embedded into a tourbillon. Each of the hairsprings has its own diameter, but they both have identical torque. The springs move in contrasting directions - while one spring increases, the other contracts – to provide ultimate precision.
