Angular Momentum, a small independent sole-manufacturer brand from Switzerland, has created another of their handmade artisan timepieces. The newest release is named Fire Tiger and it is completely unique. The watch is designed to honor the opening ceremony of “Le Club Horloger,” a new and exclusive private club dedicated to watch enthusiasts and based in Shanghai. Angular Momentum Fire Tiger wristwatch will be officially presented on June 18th, when the prestige club opens its doors for the first time.

The watch is crafted from 18-carat white gold, and it arrives in a generous but elegantly-sized 40.mm watch case. The watch face reveals a miniature painting of Chinese Firte Tiger, which is a symbol of the summer season. The painting is done in verre églomisé technique of reverse gilding and painting on glass. In this method, the back-side of glass gilded with gold or metal leafs and combined with reverse painting, resulting in mirror-like reflective finishes with warm golden undertones.
Angular Momentum Fire Tiger wristwatch beats to the cadenza of a historical self-winding movement manufactured between 1950 and 1960. The movement is closed with a golden seal featuring leaf ornament, while a single black cabochon diamond embellishes the crown. Same as any other Angular Momentum creation, the Fire Tiger wristwatch is hand-made by Martin Pauli.
