Introducing the Skeleton Pure Collection by Armin Strom
Armin Strom presents the Skeleton Pure Collection, a new range of watches that honors the mechanical complexity of the movement. The aesthetics of Skeleton Pure watches accentuates the architecture of the movement by highlighting its layered construction, in which all of the components are clearly revealed from both sides of the case. In case you didn’t know, the founder and namesake of the Manufacture, Armin Strom, is specialized in the art of skeletonizing. Most of his creations are revolving around the idea of cutting away all components of the movement that are not essential to its functioning. The remaining parts are always engraved and embellished, before being fitted into finished cases.
Armin Strom Skeleton Pure ARM09-S layers of the movement
The Armin Strom Skeleton Pure Collection is, in some way or another, also a tribute to the first in-house caliber ARM09. This time, the famous manual-winding movement comes in its skeletonized version (ARM09-S), with a plate accentuated through 3D PVD colorization. Its unique winding system features a micro-rotor (which contributes to the slender profile of the watch) and a double-barrel mechanism, ensuring no less than 8 days of power reserve. The caliber also epitomizes the utmost level of different hand-made finishing. The gear train and barrel bridges have been meticulously plated with rhodium or ruthenium, in the manufacture's specialized electroplating division.
Armin Strom Skeleton Pure Earth
The movement drives off-center indications for hours and minutes, in addition to small seconds and practical power reserve indicator. This hand-wound mechanical marvel beats at a frequency of 18,000 A/h, and it is assembled from 146 components and 34 jewels. Its escape wheel and pallets are made of solid gold with hardened functional areas, while the regulating system features screwed balance with Breguet overcoil. Thanks to the sapphire dial ring, the inner mechanics of the movement can be admired to the tiniest detail.
Armin Strom Skeleton Pure Water
As any other model from Armin Strom watch collection, the Skeleton Pure is available in four different versions, each inspired by one of the four elements: Earth, Water, Air, and Fire. Each of the four colorways refers to one of the case material options: Earth stands for PVD-coated stainless steel; Water is made of stainless steel in its natural color; Air is for titanium, while Fire refers to 18-karat white gold. All watches measure 43,40mm in diameter, and they are water resistant to 50 meters. Depending on the version, the watches are delivered with a genuine dark blue, grey black or brown alligator horn-back strap, with a double-fold clasp in matching material.

Armin Strom Skeleton Pure is produced in editions of 100. The price for the simplest Skeleton Pure Water is Euro 28,700, while the most luxurious Skeleton Pure Fire retails at Euro 40,200.
