The year 2012 starts with another great watch – The new Bulgari Daniel Roth watch ranking among the million dollar timepieces!
This highly complicated watch takes on the inspiration from Daniel Roth brand that Bulgari acquired some time ago without a clear public indication. According to the official information from the brand, this watch (equipped with Westminster Carillon chimes, four gongs, grande sonnerie, petite sonnerie and minute repeater) can chime over 433,500 times per a year, which is quite amazing.
It takes around one whole year to build a single Bulgari Daniel Roth Grande Sonnerie Quantieme Perpetual watch, and the most demanding stage in the production is actually the movement decoration. It takes about six months to decorate the movement parts, and 4 additional months are required to build, assemble and test the motion.
The watch utilizes the automatic movement Caliber DR 5307, composed of 923 components and built on 82 jewels. It is priced at 980,000 Swiss Francs, or something more than $1,000,000 at the current exchange rate.
