A watchmaker, designer and philosopher, Daniel Strom presents his latest creation – Agonium Nethuns II Diving Watch.
The new member of the Agonium watch family perpetuates Daniel Strom’s unique philosophy by which time is not a simple measurement, but a vital energy. All of the watchec created by Daniel Strom are imbued with a strong symbolism, which underlines the volatile nature of the human condition against the eternal nature of life. The new Agonium Nethuns II Diving Watch is dedicated to the God of Water, a natural element that most inspires life. In Etruscan mythology, Nethuns was the god of wells, of all water, and the sea. The new Strom model is inspired by the world twenty thousand leagues under the sea, and designed to evoke the retro-futuristic world of Jules Vernes.
This unusual diver is available in a number of different variants. Crafted from 925 solid silver, bronze (CuSn8), palladium or platinum, the model is water resistant to 200 meters. As any serious underwater timepiece, it meets the international water-resistance safety norms. Like every watch in the Agonium collection Nethuns II comprises two cases. The robust hermetic inner case houses the movement, while the sculpted outer case brings the artistic dimension to the creation. Each watch from this interesting series is engraved by hand, which makes it completely unique.

Daniel Strom Agonium Nethuns II Diving Watch is issued in limited editions in each alloy. The watches are powered by the mechanical, self-winding Swiss-made movement driving functions for hours, minutes, seconds. A rotating inner bezel is operated by the screw-locked crown at 9 o’clock. Each of these robust watches measures 48 x 54 mm, and features a black with white luminescent hour-markers. The watches are held on black or brown leather or rubber straps, with pin buckle in 925 solid silver, gold, palladium or platinum.
