Ebel celebrates the 100th anniversary with two limited series of the new 1911 BTR 137 chronographs.
The finest mechanical movement entirely developed by Ebel equips these special watches. Both versions are distinguished by supreme elegance and very fine lines, offered in series of 100 and 500 pieces, in pink gold and stainless steel. The mechanical chronograph movement, Ebel Caliber 137, is also COSC certified, which stands for its superior level of precision and reliability over time. The movement, composed of 322 parts, is fully visible through the sapphire case-back. As a special detail, the oscillating-weight is graced with antique Ebel logo and limited series number.
The sporty elegant design is distinguished by skillfully achieved balance between fine and sturdy lines. The dial boasts refined mother-of-pearl sub-dials with snailed central motif, set in a perfect harmony with faceted hour and minute hands and cobweb pattern in the background. The brand’s antique logo dominates in the upper portion of the dial, while date aperture shows up at 6 o’clock.
The cases, in both pink gold and stainless steel, have 44.5 mm in diameter and they are adorned with alternating brushed and polished surfaces. These watches are water resistant to 100 meters / 10 atm, and suitable even for swimming. Mounted on hand-stitched brown or deep blue alligator leather strap with white/off-white stitching.
The Ebel 1911 BTR 137 100th Anniversary Limited Editions in stainless steel are priced at $5950 and $26,500 for version in 18k pink gold.
