Eberhard & Co, the famous Swiss luxury watchmaker, has just released a very special timepiece designed in collaboration with the Italian leather goods manufacturer Moreschi.
The fruit of this interesting partnership is the Eberhard & Co. Extra-Fort Special Edition for Moreschi timepiece, which pays tribute to Moreschi’s founder Mario Moreschi.
Mr. Moreschi, who was truly passionate about flying, used to have an Eberhard watch which was passed down from one generation to another. This vintage model from 1949 inspires the latest creation, while epitomizing elegance, beauty, and savoir faire of Swiss watchmaking and Italian leather goods. The vintage-inspired Extra-Fort Special Edition for Moreschi is a refined timepiece of a classic, linear design - ideal companion for businessmen of every era. The watch is powered by the Swiss-made Sellita SW200 movement, which is a technical equivalent to ETA 2824-2. This mechanical movement with automatic winding provides information about hours, minutes, central small seconds, and a date.
The Eberhard & Co. Extra-Fort Special Edition for Moreschi timepiece is crafted from stainless steel, and it features an old-fashioned, beige-colored dial personalized with the Moreschi insignia at 12 o’clock. The case measures 40mm in diameter, and it has an overall thickness of 10,07 mm. Its solid case-back , which protects the watch from water to up to 50 meters of depth, reveals a commemorative engraving “Eberhard & Co.for Moreschi.”
Eberhard & Co. Extra-Fort Special Edition for Moreschi, reference number 41029, is held on an ostrich strap with hand-sewn stitches and a buckle personalized with E&C logo. The watch is delivered in a special presentation box made of Moreschi leather. Available for preorder at Moreschi.it for € 2,500.00.
