Harry Winston launches a new Ocean Sport Collection, which is all about innovation and contemporary design.
The items of this collection are crafted in Zalium® alloy, hypo-allergenic and corrosive resistant material borrowed from aeronautical engineering. Zalium is actually an alloy made of aluminium and zirconium, and a trademark of Harry Windston brand. This zirconium-based alloy was for the first time used in the Project Z series of watches, and it is now reclaimed one more time to create these highly durable sporty pieces with unique lustrous gunmetal finish.
First look on these brand new models reveals distinctive features of Harry Winston brand. However, what really attracts the attention is a robust ratcheted bezel, which confirms the sporty essence of the collection. The dial, the case and the bezel are intersected by and distinctive relief which creates almost deep three-dimensional looks. Each of the models is graced with blue accents and bright layers of Super-LumiNova on hands and time-markers.
The Ocean Sport line offers watches for men and women. Ocean Sport for Him comprises two self-winding models: Ocean Sport™ Automatic and Ocean Sport™ Chronograph, each of them boasting 44 millimeters in diameter. Automatic version offers centered hours and minutes, central sweep-seconds hand and a date aperture at 3 o’clock. Chronograph version comes with an open-worked threedimensional dial, hours and minutes marked on the flange, date disk at 12 o’clock and 30-second counter at 9 o’clock.
Ocean Sport for Her includes two sporty-elegant models in satin-finished and polished cases. One of them is a Quartz model, while the other one uses self-winding chronograph movement with 42-hours of power reserve. The Ocean Sport™ Quartz has a notched bezel and a sunray guilloché dial adorned with diamond-set indexes. This model is available in two dial versions: silver or slate, mounted on a black or white rubber strap.
The Ocean Sport™ Chronograph boasts a bezel decorated with nine diamonds and gracious diamond-set time-markers. The chronograph sub-dials are decorated with snailed silver-colored finishes and paired with a discrete date window, at 6 o’clock. This model is also available in two dial versions: with silver or rhodium dial, mounted on a rubber strap.
