Earlier this year, Jay-Z, famous American rapper and record producer, has unveiled his brand new website called Life + Times. With this new business venture, Jay-Z proves that he’s not only a musician, clothing line creator and successful entrepreneur, but also an editorial director. The Life+Times covers all interesting subjects from music and fashion to tech and sports, Jay-Z works together with this small crew of editors and writers to produce high quality content.
One of the watches that recently captured Jay-Z’s attention is the Linde Werdelin SpidoSpeed DLC Chronograph. The watch was featured on Life+Time website, together with a small description, giving us a hint about what kind of watches the famous rapper prefers. Linde Werdelin’s SpidoSpeed DLC Chronograph is certainly a great choice. It is the brand’s first skeletonized watch fitted with a special, layered dial that creates amazing 3-dimensional experience.

The watch is inspired by F1 car chassis and available in four exciting combinations: Steel, DLC, Rose Gold with DLC Titanium, and Black Orange (the one featured in the movie). The DLC versions have been treated with a black Diamond-Like-Carbon coating which is 3 times harder than steel. Powering the watch is a custom-built caliber called the LW03 with skeletonized rotor, viewable through the sapphire case back.
