JeanRichard introduces a new version of its 1681 model, which is now graced with an energetic, dynamic touch of blue.
As mentioned many times before, JeanRichard 1681 model honors the very first watch created by Daniel Jeanrichard, back in 1681. The modern-day reinterpretation of this historical piece, JeanRichard 1681, combines the exclusive automatic in-house movement with a tonneau-shaped case of very modern, geometrical design. The 1681 Blue model arrives in two different versions – one with a steel case, and one crafted from pink gold. The steel version is paired with a large seconds hand and stylish Arabic numerals, while the golden version showcases a discrete small-second dial at 9 o’clock and crisp golden indexes.
JeanRichard 1681 Blue central second (stainless steel) model is powered by the in-house self-winding JR1000 movement. IT beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour and provides a minimum of 48 hours of power reserve. The steel model offers indications for hours, minutes, seconds and a date. JeanRichard 1681 Blue with small seconds (pink gold) model utilizes the same movement, enhanced with a small second module – the JR1090 self-winding caliber.
Both JeanRichard 1681 Blue models measure 44mm in diameter and they are water resistant to 100 meters. The steel version is delivered on a blue calfskin leather strap with a stainless steel folding buckle, while the golden version arrives on a blue alligator strap with blue lining and pink gold folding buckle. The watches will be presented at BaselWorld 2014 trade show, which runs from March 27th to April 3rd 2014.

JeanRichard Graphiscope Collection – Gully limited edition
Bruno Grande, Managing Director of JeanRichard, told that this exciting collaboration begun quite accidentally. Gully was wearing a Terrascope watch one day, while working on a new painting. Being totally immersed in his work, he didn’t noticed that he splashed paint all over the watch - at least not until the end of the day, when the paint had already dried and revealed a new, truly avant-garde spirit of the watch. So, the idea about the collaboration started to shape, and this is how these three unusual limited editions have come to life....
