Pierre De Roche introduces the TNT Chrono 43, a contemporary vision of transparency

Pierre De Roche, a relatively young watchmaking brand, established in 20014, will unveil its new creations at this year’s BaselWorld trade show. The brand owned by, Pierre Dubios, one of the three Dubois brothers, presents the new TNT Chrono 43 timepiece.  This sporty and forceful model, features an aggressive case design, and quite a busy watch face, which differentiates it from the rest of the Pierre De Roche range. The watch, which is announced as a contemporary vision of transparency, features a see-through sapphire dial, revealing lots of details of the movement from any angle. The newest addition to the TNT range is sculpted from steel and titanium, and it measures 43mm in diameter. The new chronograph brings one interesting innovation, as now, for the first time ever in the TNT range, the functions are displayed on a dial.

The watch face is punctuated by bold hour-markers and transparent openings, endorsing the overall dynamism of the collection. The brand’s distinctive DNA is present in the 60-minute counter, a symbol of Pierre DeRoche, and the visible mechanism. The case houses an automatic chronograph movement developed by Dubois Dépraz, which is owned by two other Dubois brothers. Let me just remind you that Dubois-Depraz is not a watch movement maker. This workshop creates modules for base movements (such as ETAs), to enhance them and add additional functions. This time, Dubois Dépraz built an exclusive calibre on 49 jewels, with decorated and engraved oscillating weight. The functions of the movement include: hours, minutes, seconds, and a chronograph with 60-minute counter, medium-sized date. The movement is visible through a sapphire back, which also protects it from the ingress of water to up to 100 meters.

Pierre De Roche TNT Chrono 43, the brand’s eighth chronograph, is mounted on a stitched rubber strap with safety folding clasp. The watch is available in a special 201-piece limited series.
